In 1999, the Swiss Wasserfallen Meier family took over the management of the hotel and restaurant, maintaining its essence and family character. During their first visit, they were deeply captivated by the building, its privileged location next to the cove, the sea views and the unique charm of the surroundings. Convinced that this was a special place, they decided to move with the whole family to Menorca to make a dream come true and start a new stage together.
The children grew up within the walls of the hotel, the restaurant and the diving centre, sharing their lives with the guests and the island. With hard work and dedication, the family integrated into the local community and reopened the hotel and restaurant to the public, creating a space where tourists and locals feel at home, keeping alive the authenticity and character that make the Bahia a unique place.
